On the 1st May (Labour Day holiday in Singapore), 27 JETAA members and friends came together to have a little picnic at the Singapore Botanical Gardens.
Although JETAA provided drinks and some light refreshments, many members brought along their homemade food, such as delicious onigiri, fried beehoon, chicken wings and local snacks such as red bean paste pancakes.
The turnout included members from JETAA SG, associate members and friends, as well as CLAIR (Council of Local And International Relations) and EoJ (Embassy of Japan) staff. Everyone enjoyed the picnic, and had fun chatting about many different topics under the sun.
As it turned dark, we had a final kanpai and packed up our mats.
